Website: Project Mindalae

For this product, my team and I conducted extensive research on the resilience of indigenous communities. As a result, I was able to identify a technical knowledge gap among the Seattle Kichwa community that hinders them from selling their products online. Despite being experienced entrepreneurs with 20+ years in the business, language barriers and technical expertise are significant hurdles for them. That's why I along with a software developer, created Project Mindalae, an informational website that aims to make e-commerce more accessible and feasible for Spanish and English speakers. This project blends social justice and technology, reflecting the world we live in today. We aim to expand this platform to support more BIPOC communities by adding more languages in the future.
